Product Description

The S type is named for its special shape. It is a weighing force sensor for both tension and compression. STK is made of aluminum alloy, with a glue sealing process and anodized surface. It has high comprehensive accuracy and good long-term stability. The range covers 10kg to 500kg, which overlaps with the STC model range. The material and size are somewhat different, and the usage is similar to STC.

Applications:
The S-Type load cell operates based on the principle of strain gauges, which measure the deformation (strain) that occurs when a force is applied to the load cell. Here's how it works in the mentioned scenarios:
Crane Scales, Electronic mechanic scales, Hopper and tank weighing, Packing Scales, quantitative feeding machine, filling machine, universal material testing machine and other electronic weighing devices.
 

Crane Scales: The S-Type load cell is used to measure the weight of the load hanging from a crane hook. As the load is lifted, the S-Type load cell deforms slightly under the applied weight. The strain gauges embedded in the load cell detect this deformation, and the signal is then converted into a weight measurement displayed on the scale.

Hopper and Tank Weighing:
For hoppers and tanks that hold materials like liquids or bulk solids, the S-Type load cell measures the weight of the contents. The load cell is typically installed at the bottom or on load-bearing supports. As the material inside the hopper or tank changes in weight, the S-Type load cell detects the strain and sends a signal to provide real-time weight data.
